Sixties Diner – Berlin-Tempelhof (Germany)
The Sixties Diner in Berlin Tempelhof is the third American Diner of the small diner chain named “Sixties”. Grand opening was in 2001 and it is a very popular spot in the southern part of Berlin. Typical for the Sixties Diner: you can find an original jukebox from the Fifties, here it´s a Seeburg 100J.
This diner is like a neighborhood restaurant where generations meet. Breakfast or lunchtime, this restaurant is a place for families. Guests like the family atmosphere and the fantastic food and drinks.
And they find an original Seeburg-jukebox from the Fifties, full of great music of this era. The Seeburg 100J from 1955 plays 7″ vinyl records with the hits from the Fifties and Sixties and you can even make your selections from the wallboxes mounted at the tables. In all there are installed 18 Seeburg-wallboxes! You can find Seeburg 3W-1 and also some Seeburg 3W-100. The original American furniture, decoration and jukebox for this diner was supplied by the JUKELAND company from Berlin. This company did also the restoration job on the jukebox and the wallboxes and is providing service.
